Case Bound Book

A multi-process book produced to present an artist's work with the quality and durability it deserved.

The brief

Translate the artwork onto the printed page without losing its character.

The client asked Printech for advice on producing a case bound book presenting the work of an artist. Paper selection mattered across the text, case cover, endpapers and dust jacket, and the binding needed to feel durable and considered.

The book was thread sewn, finished with head and tail bands, foil blocked on the case cover and protected by a printed dust jacket.
